Administrative Assistant

Shannon Training Limited are looking for an Administrative Assistant to help with the smooth running of several activities at our Training centre in Iver Heath.

Administrative tasks will vary according to what needs may arise but generally we would expect the successful candidate to assist with the following:

  • Diary management of training rooms – managing calendars and booking courses
  • Assistance with raising and managing invoices
  • Assistance with site events – including internal events and events for external visitors
  • Dealing with the incoming and outgoing mail
  • Answering telephone calls an email enquiries
  • Ensuring all exam paperwork is prepared and results are submitted in a timely matter.
  • Exam invigilation as required.

Candidate Requirements

  • Highly organised
  • Excellent communication & collaboration skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Experience with MS software – particularly Outlook and Excel
  • Strong sense of ownership and proactive in getting tasks completed on time & to a high standard
