The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme for fleet operators which aims to raise the level of quality within fleet operations, and to demonstrate which operators are achieving exemplary levels of best practice in safety, efficiency, and environmental protection.
The FORS accreditation means we work to the FORS standards and meet their requirements of quality systems management and auditing, have acquired knowledge on occupational road risk land health and safety legislation.
Audited every year, Shannon Haulage Ltd are FORS Silver accredited. We ensure our fleet of vehicles are maintained to a very high standard through quality operational management.
We are a FORS Silver accredited company
We achieved FORS Silver by ensuring we maintain our Bronze accreditation as well as continually improving on our operations. We ensure that our fuel and emissions are closely monitored as well as our performance data. All of our drivers have to undertake at least one FORS training module a year as well as completing Safe Urban Driving. As managers of Shannon Haulage we ensure optimal safety and training of all of our drivers.
We achieved FORS Bronze by demonstrating dedication to driver and vehicle safety, ensuring the quality management of our vehicles, drivers and operations as well as optimal efficiency in ensuring all of our policies and procedures are in place and kept up to date.
